Lonely Nights

There’s a sadnes inside me,
I know not what from,
I know it is hurting,
Yet I must be strong.

My life is still changing,
Even at Thirty-One,
‘Tis love that I’m missing,
I need but just some.

To hold her, to touch her,
To have here beside me,
This girl of my dreams,
Which I know I can’t see.

Thses thoghts in my mind,
They race ’round my head,
Oh dear God please tell me,
Is it better when dead?

A life full of lonelyness,
A life filled with pain,
I often sit thinking,
Why am I still sane?
